EASTER EGG: During the title sequence, if you type “1, 6, 7, 2, 9, 4, 3, 8” between the fade in/fade out of the credits, you’ll get the real credits – “Concept & Program...DAVID LEVINE Sounds & Droids...PETER LANGSTON” (picture #1).   This doesn’t work with the prototype version.  {Frantisek Houra}

EASTER EGG: If you win a game in the 1st minute, the initials “DL” and “PSL” (for D. Levine and P. Langston) will appear in the lower-right corner of the winning player’s screen, but only when you are on the right side of the playfield (picture #2).  {David Levine}

A prototype version, dated 1-20-84, exists with the name on the standard title screen, as well as some text differences with the title screen credits (“A LUCASFILM LTD PRODUCTION Copyright (c) 1984 Lucasfilm Ltd  Certified for Regulation Play INTERPLANETARY BALLBLAZER ASSOCIATION”).

The computer versions are different from the 5200 version in that they have an animated intro of the Rotofoils.  They also have slightly different text on both the title screen and with the hidden credits.  The title screen credits on the 5200 version are “A LUCASFILM PRODUCTION Copyright 1984 Lucasfilm Ltd Regulation Certified INTERSTELLAR BALLBLAZER CONFERENCE”. See the 400/800 Ballblazer entry for more info.

The working title was Topsy Turvy.

BUG: Occasionally, pushing against the goal boundary causes a small, glowing pixel to appear on the horizon (picture #3).  If you keep pushing against the boundary while moving left or right, the pixel will move in the same direction.  {Scott Stilphen}
