River Rescue
• The manual doesn’t include a scoring chart, so here’s the various point values:
Driving the boat (normal speed) = 10 pts per second (boat on left side of screen); 30 pts per second (boat on right side of screen, cockpit is brighter)
Driving the boat (fast speed, boat is glowing) = 50 pt increments (left side of screen); 150 pt increments (right-side of screen, cockpit is brighter)
Shooting alligator = 50 pts (left side of screen); 150 points (right side of screen)
Shooting a log = 50 pts for 1st section, 150 pts for 2nd section, 500 pts for 3rd section (700 points total)
Shooting a mine = 300 pts (left side of screen); 900 points (right side of screen)
Dropping off explorers = 100 points x which explorer it is. For example, if you only pick up one explorer, they’re worth 100 points. If you pick up 2, the first one is worth 100 points, and the 2nd one is worth 200 points. If you pick up the maximum number of explorers the boat can hold (9), the 9th one is worth 900 points.
If you dock with the maximum number of explorers (9), you get 4,500 points plus a bonus of 5,000 points!
