• 2 prototype versions exist – one dated 1983 (picture #2) and the other 1984 (picture #3). The 1983 version doesn’t show your character on the title screen, but it allows you to select which stage to start at (1-16); the 1984 version shows your character on the title screen, but doesn’t allow you to select a different stage to start at. The 1984 version has some bugs in it and is apparently earlier than the 1983 version. It also has the title spelled as “TUTUNKHAMUN”. There’s no Tutankham mask to be found (at the end of every 4th stage) in either version; instead, when you unlock the door, you’re shown another door!
• BUG: The 1983 version has unlimited lives. The stage counter always shows “1”.
