A prototype version had both the clouds and trees animated (see video).

2 versions exist!  In the original version, the clouds move but the palm trees don’t; in the later version, the trees move but the clouds don’t.

BUG: Normally, if the shark hits the center of the shark cage (going from right to left) your diamond count will go down by 1, but if this happens when the count is zero, it sometimes it rolls back to 99 (see picture)!  Depositing at least one diamond in the cage seems to increase the odds of this working. This seems to have been fixed in Shark Attack.  {Scott Stilphen}

BUG: If the maze is empty of diamonds, and the shark steals one from your possession (when hitting the cage), some may reappear in the maze!  {Scott Stilphen}

BUG: In certain areas, hitting a piece of kelp may make it impossible to then move either up or down (the right side of the cage center is one such area).  To fix this, go RIGHT as far as possible, after which you should be able to move freely again.

BUG: Often if you stop swimming, the shark will continue to reappear in the exact same spot, or sometimes not show up at all.  {Scott Stilphen}

BUG: You can see the edges of your character’s graphic area.  To see it, either push against a barrier or wait until the game colors cycle (in the attract mode).  The character graphics themselves also become slightly corrupted as you swim around.

RUMOR: There supposedly is a trick where by if you hit a piece of kelp in the lower-right area, the on-screen action will speed up.  {Al Backiel}
