• Apollo offered to make a special "monogrammed" version of this game - the difference being, your own initials appeared in place of your ship when it exploded. According to the programmer, less than 10 were sold - the exact number is unknown. One was made for former Electronic Games editor Arnie Katz (and currently owned by CGE co-founder John Hardie). Another one was also made for TV personality Leeza Gibbons. This special offer was advertised in magazines and priced at $99.95. The label is exactly the same, so the only way to tell the difference is to play it!
• BUG: There are at least 5 different manual variations (4 with the old style and full company name, and 1 with the new style with shortened company name), the later variations state the point values for both the limited and maximum heat-seeking variations are the same. Previously, the earlier variations stated they were different, so it’s possible there’s a different ROM that has the different values:
