STAR WARS: RETURN OF THE JEDI – Ewok Adventure
• EASTER EGG: On level 6 (and up), fly 32 screens to the right of the bunker (or 224 to the left) and up near the top mountain range. Large “LG” initials (for Larry Gelberg) will appear, and you’ll receive 3,200 points! {Larry Gelberg}
• HIDDEN MESSAGE: “COPR 1983 PARKER BROTHERS-L. GELBERG” can be found in the compiled code listing (at 08d8). {John Aycock}
• From your starting position, the bunker is always in the same location from your starting point (for each level): Level 1 – 0, Level 2 – left 4, Level 3 – right 10, Level 4 – left 8, Level 5 – right 8, Level 6 and up – left 10. After completing the highest level (6), every level after that starts with the message “Tribe Member!” (picture #2).
• On level 1, there’s a maximum # of AT-ST walkers and Speeder bikes you can take over (per glider) and when you reach it, all the enemies will start firing (if you get killed, they will stop firing). With your first glider, it’s 15; 2nd is 5; 3rd is 2; 4th, is 3; 5th is 4; 6th is 5; 7th is 4, etc. These maximums may apply to other levels as well. {Scott Stilphen}
• The most gliders you can have in reserve is 8. The score counter rolls at 1 million.
• BUG: PAL version - on any level, go to a “green” screen, and go down and fly very near (or into) the bottom mountain range – the hidden “LG” initials appear at the bottom (picture #1). Note- the screen doesn’t scroll all the way down to see it completely. {Scott Stilphen}
• BUG: If you fly completely around the world (either left-to-right or right-to-left), you may lose the ability to possess an enemy vehicle (until you lose your glider). {Scott Stilphen}
• BUG: If you crash into the bottom mountain range while controlling an AT-ST, the graphics will become garbled (picture #3), as well as your glider’s graphics (picture #4). The next time you either crash or possess another vehicle, the graphics will be restored. {Scott Stilphen}
