Jakks Pacific Atari TV Games

Licensed from Atari Interactive, programmed by Digital Creation Studios, and released by Jakks Pacific in 2003 (although copyrighted 2002), this was the second Atari plug-and-play system that was released; it was later re-released in cheaper packaging.  It includes 10 games:

Adventure
Asteroids
Breakout
Centipede
Circus Atari
Gravitar
Missile Command
Pong (Video Olympics game variation)
Volleyball
Yar's Revenge (sp)

The system resembles a slightly-larger original Atari Standard joystick controller.  Like the Activision 10-in-1, it features A/V output and runs on 4 AA batteries and uses a NOAC internally.  The list of games immediately raises a gamplay issue - 3 of the 10 games originally used paddles, so those don't play nearly as well.  Considering most of Atari's VCS games used the joystick, it was a rather poor choice on Jakks Pacific's part to include any paddle games.  Yars' Revenge (misspelled as "Yar's") offers the most glaring differences in sound and graphics and shows the limitations of using NES hardware to try and replicate some VCS games.
