PORKY’S

A “perfect” game scores only 7,402 (picture #1). It can be achieved by completing the highway gauntlet the first time (w/o hitting any), and then completing the scaffolding screen (w/o getting caught by Porky).  The Difficulty switch settings don’t affect this.

To get a higher score, you must keep playing through the shower screen.  Note the score resets at 8,999 back to 0000!  When this happens, you won't be penalized for pole vault jumps or loitering in the shower room.  {Scott Stilphen}

If you initially make it past the highway gauntlet (either normally, or by eliminating them), the path through the scaffolding will be straight up.  This is also the only way to get the bonus for completing the scaffolding (see below).  Also, if Porky catches you, you won’t have to build the ladder in the swamp. {Scott Stilphen}

BUG: You can eliminate the highway obstacles by quickly moving UP and DOWN (picture #2 and video).  {Scott Stilphen}

BUG: Glitches appear above your character’s head when moving on most boards (picture #3).  {Scott Stilphen}

BUG: When the first board starts, immediately move up 2 rows.  The car won’t hit you the 1st time it goes by!  This also happens if you go up 4 rows (picture #4). {Scott Stilphen}

BUG: On the highway gauntlet, the cars can’t hit you if you stand near the right side of the lane when they’re moving from right-to-left. {Scott Stilphen}

BUG: The manual lists 7 different highway gauntlet items, but the last one - “last band” – isn’t in the game!

BUG: The collision-detection between Pee Wee and Ms. Ballbreaker is way off.  Often she’ll catch you even though she never touches you (see video).

BUG:  Sometimes the screen will shake slightly on the locker/shower board.  If you jump into the middle of the hole at the bottom, you’ll fall through but your hair will remain! You’ll also see some “garbage” graphics whenever you push an object into the pit.  {Scott Stilphen}

BUG: Scoring - nearly all the point values listed in the manual are wrong!  Often an extra point is added.  Here is a chart with the correct values:

FRYING: Corrupts the ladder graphics on the pit screen.  Each time you place a brick, the corrupted graphics will start scrolling up (see video).  {Scott Stilphen}
