SUPER BASEBALL

This is basically an updated version of RealSports Baseball (picture #1), with the addition of a title screen and some improved colors and graphics (picture #2).

In a 1-player game, the Left controller is the human player.

In a 2-player game, the Left controller is the white/visiting team and the Right controller is the yellow/home team.

In either 1 or 2-player games, the yellow/home team always takes the field first.  In a 1-player game, you can choose to be 1st up (white/visiting team) or 2nd up (yellow/home team).

When hitting, you have a total of 3 different angles you can hit the ball for every direction you swing, depending on how soon or late you swing.

BUG: The manual doesn’t mention it, but the Left controller is for the white/visiting team, and the Right controller is for the yellow/home team.  {Scott Stilphen}

BUG: The Difficulty switches do affect the game.  The manual doesn’t mention this!  A is for slow players; B is for fast players.  In a 1-player game, the Left Difficulty switch is for the computer player; the Right Difficulty switch is for the human player.  Also, changing them during a game won’t have any affect – how they’re set when you start a game is how the game will play until you RESET it and go back to the menu.  {Scott Stilphen}

BUG: In a 1-player game where you chose to be 1st up, if you have the Left Difficulty switch (for the computer) set at B, it will be all but impossible to hit a home run or even get on base!  {Scott Stilphen}

· BUG: In a 1-player game where you chose to be 2nd up, the Difficulty switches won’t matter how they are set – both teams will play as if they’re set to B, which again makes it impossible for the player to win.  {Scott Stilphen}

BUG: It’s impossible to successfully bunt against the computer, no matter what Difficulty switch settings are used.  You’ll always be immediately tagged out by the catcher.  {Scott Stilphen}

BUG: When playing the computer, if the computer has a runner on base and gets a base hit, the runner sometimes won’t run!  {Scott Stilphen}

BUG: The computer pitcher never throws a ball!

BUG: If the catcher makes the last out of the inning (by tagging home plate), he will remain on the screen and there won’t be any crowd noise during the changeover.  {Scott Stilphen}

BUG: On 2-player games, after striking a batter out, if you quickly sneak another pitch in before the next batter can get to the plate, it will count!  {Scott Stilphen}

FRYING: Hold the FIRE button down and fry until the field appears with “HOMERUN” flashing at the top.  Your player will be invisible but it’s possible to move him around to score.  The other team’s players will also be invisible, making fielding very challenging.  You will also start at inning “0”.  {Scott Stilphen}
