Atari 1600XL

This was Atari's "Shakti" project, to make a PC-compatible computer using dual CPUs (Atari's SALLY 6502 CPU and Intel's 8088). The project started in April 1983 but was halted and ultimately cancelled when James Morgan became the new CEO in the Fall of 1983. The lead engineer of the project, Jim Tittsler, would stay on under Tramiel and later design Atari's PC-1.
